How many hours round trip. 14 miles round trip. Have you tried Clouds Rest from Tenaya lake.15 miles round trip. Beautiful scenery. Love Yosemite. 😇❤️🙏❤️😇
I am just gonna go ahead and say it…that view is not worth the climb. Great video though, glad you enjoyed yourselves
Hi there, as you were saying in the video about the weight of the water in your day bag. have you considered sterilisation tablets, all you do is fill your bottle up in a river or stream any form of water weather its clean or not. put one tablet in the bottle and wait 30 mins and it is fully sterile ready to drink. it gives a slight taste of chlorine but you get used to it.
Ah, I remember this trail. Did it with my daughter, and she was hopping up and down around me, while I was barely able to breath.
We were here last year, we didn’t get to climb but loved Yosemite, hoping to get back here very very soon, great video, thank you!
Slight incline and its a hard hike ? You havent been to rough places friend
Every time I go hiking in Yosemite, it’s the hike down that ends up being hard part because of that hard granite on my knee’s and feet.
Great Video 😛 that’s the motivation i need to start looking for a permit 😀
Super rad. Thank you for documenting these adventures.
hike it from glacier point is the best way to hike it, but looks amazing.
Did this hike in about 2008-ish. Didn’t need a permit back then and thankfully when we got to the rock climb there were only two other people on the rock, was super nice and will never forget the experience 🙂
I am very impressed with the way that your daughter did this entire hike and looked so calm. This just goes to show that big muscles are not needed, as her skinny frame and a strong desire to see extreme nature, were all that was required. Well done young lady!!
I’ve been there
Hello from Connecticut
So proud of your daughter my bro.
She’s more brave than me 🤪🤙
My legs got weak watching the video 😬
Awesome video and incredible hike!! I hope to be doing this hike with my future wife after we get married this June! Fingers crossed that we can get a permit!
I hiked up to the top of vernal falls and that wasn’t easy. Great memories!
Good to see this video but I don’t think this hike is for me. I have a habit of falling on trails.
Thanks for sharing your information to trail to half dome .
Great video mate, from Scotland
Did this hike many years ago with a few friends….the memory faded a bit about how tough a hike this was. Your video refreshed my mind! Thanks for the reminder.
Who needs to hike when I can just watch these videos!!! Thanks!
My friends and I did this hike years ago. Best time to start the hike is early (I mean early) like you guys did. Great job and great rewards once you’re on top of Half Dome
After watching this video, I have decided it’s better and healthier to watch someone else do this.
Is this hike wheelchair accessible?
i did this a bit underprepared but it was a great hike/ experience sadly i didn’t have my permits to go on top of half dome.
Discovered your channel yesterday, what fantastic content thank you very much! For years i’ve wanted to do some of the amazing US national parks and your channel is bang on the money for helping me plan a trip that will suit my interests., really great!
i wanted to see the food he was gonna eat
Beautiful, but way too many people, signs and rangers for my taste.
subscribed~ love it
great video! thank you for sharing…
Awesome job buddy!! I was there with my 4 boys but made did only to mist trail 🙂 u guys r amazing really.
All the Best!!
Just found out this channel today, great videos! Thanks for the tips!
Amazing Video! My wife and I hiked Half Dome 14 years ago (2006) and it is something I will never forget!
Didn’t need a permit back then though. If we hike half dome again, we’ll definitely need to get it shape and train for it!
Again great video! Thanks for sharing!
Repent and follow Jesus Christ he loves you and please spread the word of God thank you and God bless you
My hands are sweating watching this no joke
This. Is. Amazing. I’m so happy for you and your daughter, what an accomplishment! Your video is excellent, I really enjoyed it.
This was my first real hike. It was amazing. Video doesn’t do it justice.
No harness for the cables?
Really cool video. Well done to you both.
tough hike. I have done it and if someone had told me about the hike up Im not sure I would have done it with such steep switchbacks. Congrats!!!!
Next time you should bring a harness and a few biners to attach to the cables so
If you do fall you have something to catch you. Correct me if I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure a person died hiking up.
WOW WHEE! What a great hike/trip/vlog! Was that pic in beginning from Washburn point? At 71, don’t think I could accomplish that but maybe could go half way; thanks for the virtual tour. This is 3rd one of your endeavors that I viewed. Thanks, thanks & thanks!
she looks like natalie portman
The first time I did it with my son he was 7. That was back in the days before permits and some of that other goofy stuff.
Congrats on this hike! I have done hiked to Vernal Falls twice and Nevada Falls once. It was beautiful but crowded! We had to race a Boy Scout troop up those stairs next to Nevada Falls haha! I don’t know if I will ever hike Half Dome. I am afraid of heights and it takes a gut check to get overcome the fear. Again congrats to you and your daughter!
amazing.
Love your videos.
That was FUN….!!
This made my jaw drop several times. I don’t consider myself afraid of heights, but that looks scary! What an accomplishment! 🙂 Thanks for sharing.
