    great timing on this, thanks! My wife will be in Yosemite in mid-October so this is really useful. Backpacking for two nights on the way to Clouds Rest. Hoping for clear weather/no smoke – fingers crossed!!

    I have 24 hours in Yosemite next week. I have one night booked in the Yosemite Valley Lodge. I will enter the park from the west on highway 120 around 5pm. Is it reasonable that I could do Tuolumne Grove, Tunnel View, and Bridalveil Fall that evening? I will have until 6pm the next day in the park to do other hikes. Trying to cram in as much as possible.

    "Yosemite is pronounced YO-SEM-IT-TEE, not YO-SEM-IGHT." YO-SO-MIGHT is the correct Canadian pronunciation according to my cousins.
