Hey man, loved the video. Beautiful fish. Thinking about making the trip up there from Connecticut this week. Any tips/techniques you think i should know before heading there? Gonna get some of the flies you used so i hopefully have the same luck catching!

Great video. By far the best fly fishing I have encountered in my fishing career. The epicness of the fishing here is fabulous.

ive fly fished in some native streams (some unmarked tribs and some very small creeks) in the laurel highlands, its really sad brook trout are on the decline :'(  if you ever get the chance, fish some in Ligonier PA, pretty good!  nice vid!

Good video, I plan to make a trip there this summer. I live in the Finger Lakes region of NY, and we have some awesome trout fishing, but a change of scenery is always nice. How’d that sunburn feel the next day?

Lamprey in ny doesn’t surprise me. But its bad they are in a stream like that.

Awesome, thanks for posting. I remember those days of little sleep and lot of fishing. All my trips to the Catskills are over nights now. Falling asleep at the wheel on more than one occasion will make you realize the fun of booking a room, lol.

What was your fishing setup as far as line, rod (length and weight) and reel?!

  29. christian66ca on January 21, 2020 at 10:54 am

  30. Jason Storm on January 21, 2020 at 10:58 am

A compelling theory was put to me that Beaverkill lamprey fry are something of a missing link in the trout food chain there.

  31. Brad Alan on January 21, 2020 at 10:58 am
