Last August I visited the West Rim of the Grand Canyon and it was AMAZING. Greetings from Rome, Italy

  3. denzelsnipes69 on February 8, 2020 at 5:25 pm

I would rate Grand Canyon number one too. But Number two for me would be Yellowstone. I liked it better than Zion National Park, though Zion is beautiful too. Yellowstone is great in the winter if you like the snow and cold weather like I do. It’s less crowded then.

Hey travelers! Make sure you go to all these places and many more, they are seriously incredible! You’ll see A LOT of elk in Jackson hole, and mountain goats in Zion national park, and deer everywhere! I live in Arizona and I’ve been to most of these places and I hope if you can you come experience this because it is truly breathtaking and beautiful! 📸✈❤

Just a friendly reminder that many of these sites have very fragile ecosystems, so please always follow Leave No Trace Principles:

    1. Plan ahead and prepare.
    2. Travel and camp on durable surfaces.
    3. Dispose of waste properly.
    4. Leave what you find.
    5. Minimize campfire impacts (be careful with fire).
    6. Respect wildlife.
    7. Be considerate of other visitors.

    Our planet will thank you!

No love for the Pacific Northwest?

  15. Anthony Kosobud on February 8, 2020 at 5:37 pm

Too be considered a serious list and not include Glacier National Park in Montana? Common man! I have been to them all on this list and if you have not been to Glacier Nat’l Park you are missing out. September after Labor Day is the best month. Also Rocky Mountain National Park in September is a must as well. You will see Elk and fall colors with snow in the peaks. Cheers!!

All I see is rattlesnakes lol

  17. little kitty on February 8, 2020 at 5:41 pm

Zion is one of my favorite parks! We visited in December and we saw tons of wild life, water was flowing… Incredible, a must see park 👌

  18. gmaneis on February 8, 2020 at 5:42 pm

It’s impossible to make a top ten list of scenic destinations in the western USA. Too many great places to limit to only ten. Nice try, though, even if you left out hundreds of possibilities.

  19. little kitty on February 8, 2020 at 5:44 pm

Also consider Joshua Tree National Park! I live right outside of it and I go hiking all the time.

  20. Cal Commercial Insurance on February 8, 2020 at 5:44 pm

Lake Tahoe and Zion are definitely must-see places! I’m surprised Yosemite and Yellowstone are not on this list. But a good top 10 list just the same!

  21. Tootsla 125 on February 8, 2020 at 5:45 pm

    Crater Lake?

Arches National Park is without a doubt the best National Park in the United States. Hands down. Followed by Canyonlands NP. What’s going on with this list?

  28. Marsha Florom on February 8, 2020 at 5:56 pm

    Love to see Utah,! Marsha

  29. Robert Turner on February 8, 2020 at 5:56 pm

  31. Forrest Neal on February 8, 2020 at 5:58 pm

should have added Barringer Crater! It’s a humungous meteor crater in Arizona!

  32. Tom Spurlock on February 8, 2020 at 5:58 pm

Sorry, don’t agree 100%. Yosemite and Yellowstone is way better than Zion and Valley of Fire. VOF is least interesting of the bunch covered. Bryce should be in here too, better than Horseshoe bend and Antelope.

  33. John DeCriscio on February 8, 2020 at 6:00 pm

Any list like this is not credible if it doesn’t include Yosemite National Park. The list you made is nice, but none of the places you listed can even hold a candle to Yosemite.

  34. joe guerra on February 8, 2020 at 6:01 pm

Next time rename this list the top 100 western sites road trips to include Yosemite CA, Yellowstone WY, Crater Lake OR, anywhere in Alaska, anywhere in Hawaii, The Badlands SD, and a bunch of other smaller lesser known places majestic in their own right.

  35. Scott Branson on February 8, 2020 at 6:02 pm

Tahoe makes the list? Fuck off.

  36. Nijum Barua on February 8, 2020 at 6:03 pm

  42. diego f on February 8, 2020 at 6:10 pm

Number 4 antelope canyon is very crowded as well, only guided tours which
    Are rushed and way short.

  43. Jeremy Epstein on February 8, 2020 at 6:10 pm

    Where’s colorado

  44. John Peric on February 8, 2020 at 6:11 pm

Horseshoe bend shouldn’t be on this list whatsoever.

  45. Kovačević Dobrina on February 8, 2020 at 6:11 pm

    Umm…….Yosemite.

  46. Rod Ward on February 8, 2020 at 6:13 pm

This list is a joke. What about Zion, Yosimite, and Glacier?

  47. Michael Evans on February 8, 2020 at 6:14 pm
