The Guatemala Volcano Hike – MUST DO

Hiking Mt. Acatenango is quite possibly one of the wildest hikes in the world!

Climbing Acatenango, camping next to an active volcano. Then to be woken up to an eruption & lava spilling out before making the final summit at 4am.

Words alone cannot do this justice. What an experience.

There are a lot of tour companies operating this hike, after a few days of asking around and research we found the Soy Tours was the cheapest and offered the best overall experience. I would 100% recommend going through them 🙂
