I appreciate you sharing your gear and links to obtain them. Thank you.
Oops missed it. Hopefully next yr I’ll know since I subscribed. Thanks!🇺🇸😎
Where are ya’ll out of?
Freezing water bottles and using them to take up spare space in your fridge will cut down your power usage over a long trip. Even better If you can refreeze them during the trip
Flame King makes refillable 1lb tanks, i got 4 of them, one of the best purchases i have made.
sorry for off topic, but what is the name of the color of your wife’s jeep lol I love it!
NIce video is great you did a great jo
I guess I’m missing something but if I was going to take all of that silly stuff I would just get a damn RV
Awesome! I’m curious what mount you use for the propane tank? Thanks!
I like that you previewed them rather than just show them packaged up.
At a certain point it’s no longer camping.. when you spend more time messing with all the junk you brought, than actually just experiencing the moment you should just take a step back.
Too much irrelevant yap.
Almost went with a mounted awning but looking at the moon shade I think I am sold. That would be awesome I can put it anywhere!
Did a nice job
Sorry I cannot cost justify a 5# tank for the cost of more than a 20 lb tank. I can buy a 20lb tank for $50 new or less. Sure the 5 lb is convenient but not worth that premium.
what brand are your yellow trail lights?
Great description hahaha
The moonshade… super simple cover, ingenious… just bought one thanks for the tip….oh by the by, it cost 350.!!!!
The iceco fridges are really good. They have German Danfoss secop compressors
Serious question here and no disrespect, but please enlighten me. With all the gear and specific appliances, why not buy a small Class C or TT? Can still find a bargain on a used one and all the ‘stuff’ is built-in. I know I must be missing something here but I don’t know what it is?
Fantastic.
Have you thought about a portable electric fence for bear country?
The price of that pillow, plus postage to where I live, is just crazy. I’d rather just take a nice pillow from home than pay that much. Even Amazon want $75 each, so for me an Wifey $150 just in postage?? That’s bananas.
Dude your time to departure from full setup must be fairly lengthy.
Love that awning. Especially how you don’t need guide ropes unless it’s windy
2 Qs re: diesel heater.
1. Does it have a motor sound?
2. If it’s Diesel, what is the power source plug for?
Thanks in advance.
Love your videos! Question, what is the brand and model of your glasses? I need those.
Great job!
A five gallon water bladder with a shower attachment can be heated up in the 🚐
Very quickly by simply placing it within
The proximity of a heater and then taking your shower or simply placing the bladder of water out in the sun for a time & letting the water warm up, all these expensive gadgets are not completely necessary. Take it from a long haul truck driver I never used half the gadgets out there because simplicity is King
#VanLife is the exact same thing. Just Keep It Simple.
can i use the Jackery 1500 to Power the Fridge
I noticed that you keep your fridge in the bed of your truck that is somewhat open. Any issues in the rain? I’m looking into the same setup with a fridge but I rather not buy a camper shell
As a hiker/camper I truly don’t understand basically taking your house w/you to ‘get out in the woods’ !? It IS a tad contradictory.
I make bannock on an open fire all the time so an oven is a convenience, nothing more. Just like a heater and a generator & so on – what’s the point ? Someone please explain.
And please, do NOT call this camping…it’s not.
What does it mean to go camping?
to go camping: to go to stay in a tent, usually in the countryside…
I really like how you show the product in use!
Only thing I think a good addition to what you currently have is a WeBoost Drive Reach.
You absolutely *do* have to worry about tuning the antenna on a GMRS radio. Any antenna you use has to be a certain percentage of wavelength to work properly.
Once you’re into heated showers, deasel heaters, and Jackery power station youre well into "Comfortable Glamping" category.
Many problems with this video I see. Those are the things I now have to go out and add to my collection. JK cool gear, I have some but looking to grow in my gear options.
Truely enjoyed your video.Very informal I didn’t need to ask ?s you covered it.
Any out there
Jesus. Hope there is no EMP. He’d fcking die.
The tech weenie shit is so not my thing. After 2 weeks camping with me he’d need a supply drop from a c130.
That EcoFlow Delta blows the Jackery away; 1300wh, 3000w surge, much smaller than Jackery, and recharges up to 80% in 1 hour (vs 4-6 hours for Jackery and all other competitors).
I got a dog….. with a 4runner…. Space is a big issue for me….. RTT won’t work because of the dog…. I only take what I need, the only thing for comfort probably the blanket laying on the bed platform for a little cushion…… just got a car tent, so I can put heater in winter and kick my dog off the bed 😂😂😂
Pickup lumber rack for topper for cargo
You just cleaned up your jeep with your pillow 😵💫
I want to know about your matress or matress pad you use in the rooftop tent.
oooo that pillow looks awesome! a good camp pillow is the most difficult thing to find haha
Really enjoy your video’s. Lots to learn when it comes to RV’s Cheers Rob
Do you do overlanding full time or do you have a full time job as well?
Something to consider – a 12V oven
There’s nothing better than rocking up to a campsite or lunch spot with a hot meal ready to eat. There are various brands available from Australian suppliers with the Travel Buddy brand being the original. I use mine for every meal when I’m driving for the couple of hours prior. They consume around 10A and so planning your electrical power is important.
That 5lb tank is awesome, I’m getting one of those 👍👍
Ignik WAY overpriced, I have one. The same day I bought it I saw a 5# canister at Ace Hardware for half the price. Very useful tool though.
