Skiing Snowbird – Utah // Know Before You Go // 2021

#SNOWBIRD #SKIING #2021
Welcome to a Utah Ski Road Trip! We are starting off this two day weekend of skiing in Utah with one of the best ones in the Wasatch! SNOWBIRD is home to some crazy snow pillows, steep terrain, beautiful tree runs, and scenic views from Mineral Basin. All in, this resort is one that I am going to remember for a long time to come.

I arrived at Snowbird and used my park wiz barcode app to get in. You just have to pre register for parking on the Snowbird website (NOT THE IKON WEBSITE). From there it is small but easily accessed parking from the lot to the resort.

I spent most of my day on the West Side of the resort doing a couple runs in the back bowl early morning before returning to the north side of the main resort for the afternoon to explore some trees and off piste skiing. This place has a wide variety of terrain for all levels, but this is certainly a place where you can see some serious riders getting into some amazing runs.

Hope you guys enjoyed this video and hope you will stick around for next weeks video at Deer Valley for my next day of skiing here in Utah.

THANKS AGAIN FOR WATCHING, AND HAVE A GREAT REST OF YOUR DAY!

EXPLORE. ENDURE. ESCAPE.

Snowmass has been my home mountain since 95 but I have about 10 plus days at Snowbird in the last few years. The more I go the more there is to discover. The long sustained steep trails are what Im learning to love. Hope I can make it this year.

Great video and skiing. There is a lot of amazing skiing at Snowbird but going too far off the beaten path (if you don’t know where you are going) can be daunting. There are places there where it is easy to get cliffed out, seriously steep traverses across cliff areas, and super steep and narrow places. Snowbird is awesome.

If you liked it like this you’ll love it on a powder day. Powder day in the morning mineral basin its like skiing in clouds buttery smooth.

Nice video. There is so much more terrain there that is accessible by very short hikes and is still inbounds but with out some local input most people miss it
