  2. Jose Arias on March 8, 2020 at 3:06 pm

What did you put around the actuator?

  3. huckfin 1 on March 8, 2020 at 3:07 pm

I would def. get a higher amp hour for longer time on water, 35 amp hour × the amps of your motor speed determines the run time, just incase you didnt know !

  4. GILFREDO Oquendo on March 8, 2020 at 3:09 pm

If y’all are looking for an awesome lithium trolling motor battery, check out this seller on Ebay. I picked up a 60 AH LiFePO4 for $499, including a 10 amp charger. Battery comes in waterproof hardshell case and only weighs 14 pounds. This seller also sells a 100 AH battery with a 20 amp charger. https://www.ebay.com/itm/12v-60-AH-LITHIUM-ION-LiFePO4-DEEP-CYCLE-BATTERY-and-10-AMP-Charger/254105873782?hash=item3b29e3ed76:g:ZLgAAOSwp~VcYL5M

Nice video….I just got the vmax 50 ah lithium and I love that thing. I just upload that review. I just built a variable pwm speed controller and went on the first test run. I am about to upload that video. The results were ridiculously good. The energy savings with the Pulse modulator is great. Something to consider.

Nice rig! What did you use for your wireless controller?

  9. Jason Gaible on March 8, 2020 at 3:17 pm

If your fishing in the wind should you use a anchor trolley, stake out pole, or anchor wizard, what’s the difference?

  12. Jon Yovanno on March 8, 2020 at 3:18 pm

What motor mount are you using in this video?

  13. Max Noriega on March 8, 2020 at 3:20 pm

  14. MeYou Fishfry on March 8, 2020 at 3:20 pm

  16. Cody Hickman on March 8, 2020 at 3:23 pm

Hey TJ, just had a question for you. I’m new to kayak fishing, and I’m about to purchase my first kayak. I almost went with the fs10, but seems the more I read most anglers like sit on top kayaks. So you have inspired me to consider the sea ghost. I am limited on space and hauling capacity, so what is your opinion on the sea ghost 110? Would it still be a good boat at 11ft instead of 13ft?

  17. Phil on March 8, 2020 at 3:24 pm

so the extra mounting bar for better motor support? did it get rid of the flex that you probably had?

  18. david arms on March 8, 2020 at 3:26 pm

    Is that Kenny Chesney ?

  19. David Ramirez on March 8, 2020 at 3:26 pm

  27. Awood Kayak Adventures on March 8, 2020 at 3:29 pm

Nice man i love the yak. Almost looks as good as mine. J/K. But for real. I was wondering on the controler , are you suppose to put it high gear and then hook it up or just wire it like it is when the motor is in off position? Let me know what you think!! Awesome video keep it up👌👍

  28. The Outdoor Family on March 8, 2020 at 3:31 pm

  31. Verdell Parent /aaa wink on March 8, 2020 at 3:35 pm

I like the motor mount it reminds me of the t back mounts I made in 2003 and used for many years ,,caught my eye,,you can see my old mounts on, aaawink channel you have a nice set up and I’m glad to see electric kayaking still going strong 16 years later,,

  32. Chuck Norrisrat on March 8, 2020 at 3:38 pm

So much safer having your motor on the stern, I took mine on its maiden voyage today and it flipped thanks to the awesome jetskis and powerboats not obeying the 5 knot restrictions.
Destroyed a 120ah lithium battery, trolling motor won’t fire up and 35 years of old school lures went under too. It’s always important to secure everything and I mean go over the top.
I was 2 minutes from pulling up on the boat ramp at lake Negambie. I had my motor mounted on the side in the locked position when the water dropped from boat waves and when it bounced on a log I flipped over, if it was stern mount and unlocked it would have just been a bump. Back to the drawing board, love your show sadly no-one in Australia does a good kayak show

  33. Kerstin R. on March 8, 2020 at 3:41 pm

Hey TJ, do you have to register the kayak now since you’re running it with a trolling motor?

  34. John Klopp on March 8, 2020 at 3:42 pm

Good video and channel. Rang the bell 🔔

  35. pissywilly on March 8, 2020 at 3:47 pm

My battery weighs a ton and sits behind my seat I may stick it up front too its tail happy in my catch120. Nice rig man!

  36. Kevin Sandells on March 8, 2020 at 3:47 pm

I need a motor like that for my bonafide ss127. But I probably couldn’t build it.

  37. Jimmy D Cantrell Jr on March 8, 2020 at 3:49 pm

Awesome video TJ how can I get a yak squad sticker ☺

  38. john rugani on March 8, 2020 at 3:49 pm

Looking Good Thanks for the video. what is the lb. thrust on that motor. And what size battery do you use?

  39. Mike West on March 8, 2020 at 3:51 pm

those wires looked kinda thin for a 13 foot run. Do they get warm after a long troll?

  40. Tom Jeser on March 8, 2020 at 3:51 pm

Trying to copy your install on my Bonafide SS127. The 8" actuator is not available. Should I use a 6" or go with a 10" actuator

  41. Dewey Lee on March 8, 2020 at 3:51 pm

Wow Man is the water coming up or do people always park in the water.

  42. Stream Rolling on March 8, 2020 at 3:52 pm

  43. Nathan Moore on March 8, 2020 at 3:52 pm

Can you go over the trolling motor mounting bracket?

  44. Marc Smith on March 8, 2020 at 3:53 pm

I just checked out your kit.com page. My wife is going to be so mad at me by the end of the summer, but my kayak will be sick!

  45. Dakota Farrulla on March 8, 2020 at 3:53 pm

    Awesome build!!
Do you have a vid where you go over how you used that bracket to mount? The video I watched had you using just the rudder hole. Was there too much stress on the kayak using just the rudder hole?

  46. Dennis Gaffney on March 8, 2020 at 3:54 pm

I am in the need for a boat , what would you suggest to top a Honda Civic ? Thank you !

  47. WEIRD PLACES PHOTOGRAPHY on March 8, 2020 at 3:58 pm

Great video! I learned a lot! I’m currently building my own! Did you test the longevity of the battery on the water? I’m looking for something that’s small but can last me all day or get my around the lakes I want with no worries of it’s dying.

  48. Frank O'Bryant on March 8, 2020 at 4:00 pm

Nice TJ. Can show some close ups on the new bracket?

  49. J Wood on March 8, 2020 at 4:00 pm

Hey, nice job! What’s up with the support bracket? Just needed I guess. Grab a Mighty Max Battery. They have an 50ah on sale now for $99.00, weight is same as V-max just more ah for less money. Just a thought. Enjoy it sir. I’ll let you know how mine turns out, all components just about in place. Buying a little along. Tight Lines!

  50. Justin Staten on March 8, 2020 at 4:02 pm

Thanks for all the videos! Do you ever do any saltwater kayak fishing?
