Fishing SEA MULLET in Western AUSTRALIA | Bart van Olphen

I am in the town of Mandurah in Western Australia and here I met up with my friend Damien Bell, Damien is a sustainable fisherman who fishes for sea mullet and blue crab on the Peel-Harvey Estuary! He aksed us to tag along to see how he catches sea mullet! Enjoy.

    One of the best Bart why?…. because I am an Australian living in France, his accent I miss, Mullet however many Australians are fussy fish eaters because they consider Mullet and Mackeral as’ bottom feeders’ too bad they are delicious fish, go to Tasmania if you can one day another world for seafood including Abalone I should know why? lol

    Here in the west coast of Florida (tampa bay) it is illegal to use a gill net on mullet. The best way to prepare is to smoke slowly with buttonwood or mangrove
