Exploring Öland. Part 1
I explore the Swedish island Öland in the Baltic Sea, and show you the typical nature, history and culture.
In this first part of three planned I don’t learn much bushcraft, but I do show you the Fields of Neptune, the Great Alvar, Borgholm Castle and the sand beaches of Böda.

Böda
I’m just a swedish woman trying to learn the art of bushcraft and survival… As a biology / geography teacher I go from theory to practice – and it isn’t always as easy as you might think 😉

Nice scenery.
You beautiful.
Du borde förklara vad "Byxelkrok" betyder på engelska också 🙂
Bravissimo! Top notch eco-tour of a unique habitat.
Kudos.
What a fascinating place Emilie, it looks so peaceful and tranquil. I must put Sweden on my must visit list now that I have retired.
I think you could become a Swedish version of Attenborough and Bear Grylls so mega awesome xx.
Its wonderful to see videos from the true fatherland. My fathers birth land.
Wish she was my school teacher lol
I’m so fall over in love with you XXX your beautiful self XXX your sexy voice XXX keep sharing your love xxx
That landscape is really interesting. From an Environmental Students perspective, you can see ancients examples of soil formation though the lichens that live on limestone, plants adapted to harsh environment etc.
Love your videos and always learn something as well whether bush-craft or otherwise.
Thanks for sharin, keep up teh great work (been binge watching lol around 6 hours atm)
Years ago my dad told me Sweden was the prettiest county he never did see. I can see why.
I think that water would be too cold for me.
When we go to a beach on Mt. Desert Island on the coast of Maine, there are almost no US citizens swimming. All the swimmers have come south from Quebec.
When we visit our son and his family in Florida on the Gulf coast, I go swimming there. The water in the summer often gets to over 32 degrees C. It is often hotter than the air.
really nice toward the end
Cool castle! I think the water would be rather cold in that part of the world.
Your language seems very difficult regarding the pronunciations.
@7:30
WOW………………..
Like for all Costume too 🙂
I read Johan Theorin`s books about Oland island , I like the mystical part of it and would like to visit very much. Would be nice for a change for someone from Bulgaria and Sunny Beach to visit Sweden 😉
The Wooded Beardsman. You can´t compare them. Emelie is special and in a league of her own!
I follow you with great pleasure are all beautiful videos
I saw a concert at Borgholm castle last Summer. I really wish I could have explored Öland more. Great video. I really miss Sweden. Subscribed!

Fantastic landscape! We have a limestone landscape also in Ireland , called "the burden". Similar but different!
Har du hört någon gång om det finns flinta naturligt på Öland? Vet att det ska finnas i Skåne och Halland
I have just discovered your channel and I like it very much (your Swedish accent too) Last year we have visited Öland … And after heat waves in July we had few rainy days in August. Like you just said – it’s a gorgeous island (it’s worth to visit Lighthouse on the south of the island with amazing views and Böda Sand Beach 🏖️😎 North – amazing sandy beach also a castle in Kalmar… and many more)
I hit on one of my teachers in high school. Didn’t turn out too good.-Not even going to go there!!!!! Looks like there are plenty others, going there!!!!!

You’re a biology teacher?!! I gotta tell ya’, I took biology in the United States, and my teacher looked NOTHING like you! I was cheated! Damn American school system! OK, so now that I’ve been a creep, you’ve got a great channel, interesting content, and your material is well thought out and quite useful. Obviously, I subscribed. I also tried to enroll in the the Swedish school system, but they refused to accept me…damn it.
