Here’s the thing, retirees do, or at least should, care about schools. Poor schools go hand in hand with the issues that keep retirees away. No one wants to retire in a town full of morons working for minimum wage.

    None in Delaware? Smh…

  7. abialo2010 on March 1, 2020 at 9:16 pm

I disagree with Savannah. They have paper factories there and its stinks for miles. And when the ocean is funky it stinks like that. Savannah stinks

  8. World According To Briggs on March 1, 2020 at 9:16 pm

Hey, everyone. While doing the research I got my lists mixed and said the wrong populations on a few towns. Sorry, just being human today.

  9. Frank Bishop on March 1, 2020 at 9:17 pm

Side note – Toward the end of the War of Southern Independence, Savannah, GA, was invaded by the Atilla the Hun of the North American continent (Sherman). Sherman ordered the city burned. His soldiers refused the order because they had never seen such a beautiful city. To prevent a mutiny, Sherman retracted the order. A lot of that beauty is still there. I know the summers are hot, but it would be my choice from this list.

I have a friend who used to live in Huntsville. She said it was a great town, but five minutes outside the city, you would be in Alabama

  11. Cheryl Laboy on March 1, 2020 at 9:19 pm

So quit knocking "liberal hell hole" Portland OR but continue with the "incest" remarks of ENTIRE states in the south..Got it..

  12. Mike Willoughby on March 1, 2020 at 9:20 pm

Murfreesboro Tennessee is awesome! Only 30 miles from Nashville!

    Nicely done, good job

  14. Channel Fiend on March 1, 2020 at 9:20 pm

You obviously did not do you research on Omaha, Ne. North Omaha is the hood with West Omaha being the suburbs. There are portions that are ghetto & it has crime here like most other cities of it’s size. In the summer, murders tick up a notch due to gang violence.

There’s also a high # of homeless as well as folks on govt assistance. Oh. And there is much to do here …

Good to know I don’t gotta go far from Dallas to "retire". haha I recommend Huck’s Catfish in Denison….damn that’s good stuff!!

  16. lefu87 Williford on March 1, 2020 at 9:23 pm

Huntsville has a big crack and meth problem on top of the pill epidemic that has decimated the South. Because there is no support for poor people, they just end up in jail instead of treatment.

  17. Logical American on March 1, 2020 at 9:24 pm

Yo a top ten small towns in us colonies would be a cool video

  18. spcbell3246 on March 1, 2020 at 9:25 pm

I’m retired vet at 30(as of the date of retirement)… Florida is the best place I’ve ever been. Strange nonsense, veteran friendly, and cheap compared to other places. Lots of zero tax laws for old and broken people.

  19. Vincent on March 1, 2020 at 9:25 pm

Why did Mormons have to take the best state 🙄

  20. SeaJay Oceans on March 1, 2020 at 9:28 pm

Sioux City Iowa.  Hospital is only 10 min from anywhere, and Council Bluffs is a short drive as well.   Tell me what you think?

  22. The Jazz Monastery on March 1, 2020 at 9:31 pm

I personally won’t move anywhere where cannabis is not at least medically available.

  23. Vonda Martin on March 1, 2020 at 9:32 pm

The deep south sucks. And kill me if I ever end up in Texas.

  24. Wayne Fiebick on March 1, 2020 at 9:33 pm

Capitol of South Dakota is pronounced ‘peer’.
I would choose Brookings over Pierre

  25. Ken Smith on March 1, 2020 at 9:33 pm

Remove Huntsville, AL and Savannah, GA and this list is pretty good. Look up the crime rate for those two cities. Savannah, GA is rated a 9 (100 is the safest), Huntsville, AL is rated a 3!

  26. AL CAPPS on March 1, 2020 at 9:34 pm

Entertainment in Sherman, Tx? Hail storms and tornadoes.

  27. Peoples KarmaSquad on March 1, 2020 at 9:35 pm

  29. felicia Dunn on March 1, 2020 at 9:37 pm

What did you mean by saying a city wasn’t ghetto

  30. Connie Charley on March 1, 2020 at 9:38 pm

You’re funny as a narrator. Good to listen to you.

  31. Jeff B on March 1, 2020 at 9:39 pm

Pierre is a dump. Sioux Falls is far better. And by the way, Pierre is pronounced "PEER."

  32. nikzig777 on March 1, 2020 at 9:40 pm

how would you rate Fort Wayne, IN? compared to these

  33. Emily Curewitz on March 1, 2020 at 9:41 pm

Portland ME is almost as liberal as Portland OR

  34. Michael Richter on March 1, 2020 at 9:43 pm

Problem with Bozeman: its nice, but its more for the rich, now. I lived there when it was sorta run-down, but now, ALL the prices are sky high there. Otherwise, I’d live there again.

  35. Botch on March 1, 2020 at 9:43 pm

Good video (I’m 59 and retiring end of January). Just a couple points:
I grew up in SD, and the capital is pronounced "Peer", not "Pee-Air" (in NYC it’s pronounced "Bismarck")
For now anyway, I will be retiring here in Ogden, Utard. House was paid off ten years ago, no mosquitoes, mild winters, somewhat hot summers, skiing, hiking, trout fishing a 6-minute walk away, but waaay too many kids. Nothing’s perfect, and if it is, you can’t afford it. ;D

  36. Del Mar Apartments on March 1, 2020 at 9:44 pm

Omaha is boring. It also has high property taxes. Nebraska taxes retirement pay.

  37. pecker wood on March 1, 2020 at 9:48 pm

I been retired from the age of 44,I’m almost 52 now!!!!wooohooooo!!!!!

  48. lefu87 Williford on March 1, 2020 at 10:03 pm

I lived in Huntsville AL a few times when I was younger. It’s basically a satellite of Chattanooga TN. Like how Vancouver WA is to Portland OR.

  49. Cheryl Laboy on March 1, 2020 at 10:03 pm
