New rv buyers . The first time I step into camping world store I was directed to go and walk the lot and see what I liked. After i told the front desk lady I had a appointment to see a rv that I saw in the web. That was the first bad service from camping world. I put a bad review . In the web . Manager call me back apologized for the bad service and ask me to change the bad review. After sweet talking to me I ended buying to a 5th wheel. The rv had some minor repairs that need it to be done. They keep pushing me to sign. And I say no till all is fix. I give they 7 days to fix it . I came back to look at it. And still had problems . So i made a appointment to sign with a agreement that I would buy it if only the rig was fix. When back 5 days later. I ask to look at the and they had it outside the shop. Still had problems they promise me that by the end of the day it was going to be fix. Let’s sign the contract . I spend a hole day at camping world getting my hitch install and they fixing the rv while we wait mean while they told let’s get paper work rolling while we wait. 7pm came around store. Was close by then all techs went home. They deliver the rv I had no choice but to take it home . They did repairs some of the problems but the tech broke other things while trying to fix it. Brought it back the following weekend . And drop it off for repairs. I have not use my rv is been 4 months. I finaly me pushing them around . I had to rich out . Because they would not call me on updates. Excuses why they did not call me was I did not had you # . 7 days later after they call me that they had all the parts
I call because again. No communication from the advisors and manager. They excuse they give me why it has no been finish was the tech has back problems and was out and the unit was put on hold till the tech came back. BS . They finaly got done 5 days later after my last call . I got the call and it’s ready I went to pick it up and found most of the repairs was done. One of the chairs had a hole on the material I was promise that it was going to get eeplace . I saw the chair . It was not replace it was repair they cover the hole . Not only that they they did not keep their promise. They damage my unit the rv was ram into a wall or something. More time without my unit. Is been 5 months since I purchase the unit and still sitting in their lot . The service sucks and management sucks service manager and sales manager . I even made a complaint at camp world headquarters and they open a case . They did no do anything. I am still waiting . I would like to put a legal complaint does anybody know where I make that complaint thanks

The reason you pay so much more for financing is because campers fall under “RECREATIONAL LOAN”, which start the APR rate at 5.99%! You can go to a credit union and just borrow the full amount and pay their rates I suppose, plenty of people do it, but where Camping World gets you is the payment section on the worksheet! As long as I keep them in the payment they like it doesn’t matter if I hit them with the 10 year or the 20 year term, they are just happy that we got them done. There is saved you 24min of BS, now come by a camper from me so I can snap necks, cash checks, and put you in serious debt with no remorse 😂

My local Camping World has a new name but is still owned by “CWI, Inc.”

Care to guess what the “CW” stands for?

Because this is what you do when your brand becomes toxic. You change the name and carry on.

This guy is the Alex Jones of the RV world. “Did you know that RV salesmen will try to sell you an RV?” “Did you know that RV dealerships make money from financing”

For all of your idiots that can’t deal with FACTS! and claim that the CEO of camping world said he didn’t want "Trump supporters" business. WRONG! The CEO of Camping World stated, after a violent white supremacist Terrorist, rally in Charlottesville, Virginia “There’s no doubt that there is probably not many consumers in this country today that are in favor of what has been said in the last couple days and if they are, quite frankly, don’t shop at my business,” said Lemonis, who is CEO of Camping World and host of CNBC’s “The Profit. ”, So he doesn’t want Racist Terrorists business, The FACT! that you equal "Trump supporters" to Terrorists that have killed more US citizens then ISIS, The Taliban and Al Qaeda, including dragging a man, James Byrd Jr, to his death behind a truck, Showed up in Charlottesville, Va. in Full NAZI, KKK uniform, called for the "Destruction of the Constitution" and one of them drove a car into a crowd of US citizens, murdering 1 and injuring 19 others, Tells EVERYTHING! about YOU!

We bought our first RV from a local RV center, our second at a larger company out-of-state, and our third RV from Camping World. We were informed consumers and had a good experience at each retailer except the out-of-state company I won’t even mention. Every RV has issues that need addressed, and our problems were handled in a reasonable time. Smaller RV businesses can have better or worse customer service, and every service center is working at 110% so it is difficult to get work done in a timely manner anywhere, in our experience. Big Box versus Mom & Pop is not a new story, but this is a great advertisement for one local business. Is there a hotline for a good experience with Camping World? Do your own research no matter what business you walk into and you won’t walk away feeling swindled.

They had a winnebago advertised on RVT,We had called and I said we were coming to drive it…"Uhhh that one uhhh doesn’t run…So cpl days ago we drove to greenwood loc. UP FRONT tried to get credit app on us,then when I insisted on seeing that RV He took us,around the huge lot and would not take us to any used ones. They had a brand new 1 we liked,So I said we would like to test drive,"UHH WE UHH They will not let you drive unless your buying it,Then take me to my car buddy boy!. You think I came here to waste your and our time moron?, CROOKS!.The used 1s are bait to get you there we saw some used @ back of lot ask about them,"Oh those are customers"
Really1000 feet from service dept??, NOT!!.

Camping World piece of shit!

18. nicole rafter on February 10, 2020 at 11:31 am

Camping world sucked b4 Marcus took over. They had shotty business practices since starting. We will never buy from them, my mother (against our advice) did & she regretted it… pushy salesmen, high prices & horrible turn around for customer service. They had her rv for a 1 year just to do a check up.

19. yorkienme 226 on February 10, 2020 at 11:38 am

We were totally taken advantage of by Camping World near Myrtle Beach, SC. Sales guy was sticking "Sold" signs on each camper we considered, he was texting me throughout the day, we were assured we needed the $10,000 worth of extra warranty protection, they pulled each of our credit reports THREE TIMES EACH, we have several different quotes on what we purchased the rv for from $31,000 to almost $52,000 because "banks need to see equity", we have almost hated this RV and are considering taking a huge loss just to get rid of this awful experience!!

20. cowboy6591 on February 10, 2020 at 11:39 am

Why am I the only one bringing this up. Better Business bureau claims "Not Registered With The BBB" and almost 900 complaints with only one store :
250 Parkway Drive Suite 270
Lincolnshire, Illinois 60069
This is only one store out of 100’s,, WHY AREN’T THESE PEOPLE CHECKING THIS INFO BEFORE BUYING. I always check, Without these heroes putting up videos I still would have walked away from Camping World doing my own due diligence.

I suddenly don’t feel as much sympathy for these morons that spend 50 grand on something without a BBB search. And even a Private investigator electronic search.
Anyway; why is this proven fact NOT mentioned in these videos, This bbb page backs up Kevin Frazer’s claim, he should be linking to this. Vet this yourselves folks here’s the proof.
https://www.bbb.org/us/il/lincolnshire/profile/rv-dealers/freedomroads-llc-0654-88083359
<"https://www.bbb.org/us/il/lincolnshire/profile/rv-dealers/freedomroads-llc-0654-88083359">
It’s only one effen store for god sakes, multiply this by stores owned and Christ !!! You know they are the MOB and have big brother in their pockets.

22. lynda stengel on February 10, 2020 at 11:43 am

So my question: What if you just buy a travel trailer from Camping World but finance w/your own credit union? No extended warranties, no unethical "set-up/prep" fees, and no camping world financing. Just the bottom basement price for the trailer and nothing else. Would that be a bad idea? We actually are headed to a camping world tomorrow to purchase our first travel trailer, but I am now having second thoughts. Like I said, we will use our own financing and not purchased any extended warranties or protection plans from the. What do you think?

23. szatuchny on February 10, 2020 at 11:44 am

Marcus Lemonis refused to remove the American flag when people complained that it was offensive. He has my respect.

24. bob stuerke on February 10, 2020 at 11:46 am

Great public service message. Stay away from Camping World and Gander Mountain (same company) if you don’t want to be ripped off. They are the sleeziest companies around. There are many good RV dealers to go to, so protect yourself and avoid Camping World.

29. Bob Newsome on February 10, 2020 at 11:50 am

Imagine being a Full Timer and Camping World keeps your RV for weeks waiting on parts. These stories are all over the internet. I researched for 3 years before I bought my 5th Wheel, which we live in Full Time. I am glad I decide not to even waste my time there. The whole RV industry is built around the idea that your only going to use an RV 10 to 20 days a year so by the time something breaks you could be out of warranty. They are hand made which means you are going to have problems. So response by their Service Dept is real important. Go to a RV shows and go on the last day and look at the condition of the RVs after a weekend of people walking through them you will see closet doors off their hinges, kitchen doors up messed, hand rails hanging down etc.. It will give a good idea how certain manufactures products hold up. If you buy a new RV choose a good dealer that has a highly rated Service Dept, they will be advocates for you back to the manufactures. I decided to buy used a consigned unit through a dealer, all the bugs were worked out and somebody else paid the depreciation. There are good dealers out there. Arrange your own financing! They are just like car dealers they get a cut if you use their banks.

Sorry to say that we got rolled by Camping World. My husband even fought them on the shady numbers and made some headway, but in the end it was a mistake to buy from them.

33. Robert Rife on February 10, 2020 at 11:53 am

CEO of CW hates President Trump, and does not want Trump supporters business! So………

Personally, I completely dislike them, they are, in fact, owned by CHINA!

34. Stuart T on February 10, 2020 at 11:53 am

Marcus Lemonis said he doesn’t want Trump supporters to shop in his stores for him saying there’s good people on both sides, Is he now going to ban Biden supporters for the words Biden said about bussing & being able to work with segregationist ?

Lemonis goes after the greenhorns-eh? Marcus looks for the suckers. Check out what he did to the young lady who had a successful camp-equestrian business. Lemonis a.k.a. CAMPWORLD- did exactly what Kevin Frazer is describing in this video. Don’t be a Lemonis Sucker. Lemonis sniffs them out.
There’s one born every minute & he’ll find you & go for the green. Greedy F**k. There is no need for bad business.

I work for cw as a tech. I will say not every store is the same. While ive worked on motorcycles, semi trucks, concrete boom trucks, and now rvs. Some of the actual camper problems are warranty problems. They give no time to fix things. And then the company wony pay us to fix it either. Thr trailers are fraudulently being built at best. But i do agree they dont pay the people that actually work. Right now i make yhe company between 200 and 240 hours of work a month flat rate… i bring home roughly 2800$… thats 20 to 50k a month i make them and i barely cleared 40k last year. Piece work is an excuse to not pay people. I bought an rv from a mom and pop, they said everything worked it didnt. So i said i can be better than this. And well now im a technician. I have quality and knowledge of someone that makes 30+ an hour. If you start to stick up for yourself and demand more pay they starve you out… i can’t even afford my insurance through them…
