    Thanks for the excellent information. If I had to make a suggestion for any of these sites, it would be nice if they could somehow hook up with โ€œclearance dot comโ€. With so many bridges and overpasses in USA and Canada with clearances lower then most RVโ€™s nowadays. This information site could save lives and time wasted if you have to re-track you route. Donโ€™t know if possible but that site is excellent to have for trip planning. Again thank you for your time spent on these useful videos. Really appreciate it๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜ƒ

  4. Eileen Brown on April 1, 2020 at 3:40 pm

    Oh no! I should have been taking notes because there were at least 2 you mentioned that I wanted to try, and now cannot remember the names! Any chance you could add the app names in your video description? Thank you Stacy!

  5. Todd Ramsay on April 1, 2020 at 3:42 pm

    I’ll play with the freeroam app, it looks neat. Do you know if it takes into account for low bridges etc that you may encounter on the path to your destination.?

  6. Wonder Where 2 Wander on April 1, 2020 at 3:44 pm

    We use Allstays every day. Love it!!!!!

  7. George Brawner on April 1, 2020 at 3:44 pm

    Thanks Stacy a lot of great info

  8. Vinny Keenan on April 1, 2020 at 3:45 pm

    Thanks for the info. That’s some good useful stuff. Gives us some options. We use Reserve America for some state campgrounds. Don’t know if you’ve checked that one out. Thanks for sharing the good info with us.

  10. George Hartle on April 1, 2020 at 3:47 pm

    Great video! RV Parky is my favorite. It also works with android phones.

  11. Kx RV66 on April 1, 2020 at 3:48 pm

    Yikes! More camping apps to check out. Thatโ€™s a good problem!

  12. RV Van Life on April 1, 2020 at 3:52 pm

    As more nomad stories come out about the problems with mosquitos at camp sites, maybe you could suggest to your app friend to include info about that, for he will have a one up on everyone else, I think it’s needed, Robert Whitman got chased out of his site a few weeks back

  13. MWB on April 1, 2020 at 3:53 pm

    Great information. Thanks!

  14. E_TheGod on April 1, 2020 at 3:53 pm

    How do you all (all RV’ers) pay for all of this stuff? Don’t you have to have a job?
    Money vanishes once you spend it so how do RV’ers get paid to constantly re up on resources like WATER, GAS, GROCERIES, how do you all get INTERNET, how do you all PAY the internet companies monthly if you’re not in a stationary home w/ a MODEM?
    How do you receive mail?
    How do you pay for the RV if it’s financed?
    Like are all of you *RV’ers* financially free?
    You all just have unlimited money huh? I’ve been curious of this since I first started research the RV expense life.
    A new RV costs already, then you have to have food daily, fees to park? gas to always travel, weather run ins for winter = more insulation ..

    Answer in a video? *this is my first video I’ve seen on your channel* .. I’m just generally researching about the RV life.

    Here are a couple of great tools for getting RV park reviews.

    App – RV Life
    Site –

    They are basically the same information. Provides you with information on the campground and their amenities. Also provides quite a few reviews with really great information on others’ experiences. I use it to get feedback on campgrounds that I have never been to. I have not been able to find any other resource that have as many reviews as this does.

  16. Deacon St John on April 1, 2020 at 3:53 pm

    Awesome job as per usual …great information for first time RV’ers. Thanks again for taking the time to make this video

  25. Bee Van Life Traveler on April 1, 2020 at 4:02 pm

    Very good as this APP thing is a bit new for me. Not, sure if old website campground stuff would be of any interest. All of Florida at and the others two cover USA, CANADA and world.
    I have more, but I did not want to load up your screen. Thanks

  26. Travis Adams on April 1, 2020 at 4:03 pm

    List of apps/websites mentioned:
    1. FreeRoam
    2. Campendium /
    Adding Campendium icon to your home screen on an Android device

    3. Ultimate campground

    4. Allstays

    Super video… I’m not sure why the time limit or number of topics covered is such a problem.
    Viewers have the ability to scroll through to the spot they like…OR perhaps you could put time stamp labels alongside the topic in the description and people could jump to the ones that pique their interests… (for those of us who even look at the description (wink)).
    * * *
    Now, if it is significant for subscribers to view the entire video without scrolling or jumping to specific parts, then I could understand having everyone view it in a single viewing from beginning to end.
    "๐๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ฉ๐ž๐š-๐ฉ๐ข๐œ๐ค๐ข๐ง’ ๐ก๐ž๐š๐ซ๐ญ!" (like Tennessee Ernie Ford would say) for trying to make it easier for your viewers.
    In my head, we don’t have to watch all the way through in one sitting, do we?
    IF anyone comes back and watches it through again, do you get a count for two viewings? OR does a computer-cookie come into play here?
    * * *
    All that above, to say all this below:
    You’re building a video document (and record) for many to use as an immediate source of information as well as many, many others who will want to jump back in time from some future point to see what you’ve had to say about a specific topic… so the trick is to have enough (but not too much) content to satisfy your subscribers as well as attract new subscribers who may visit for a specific topic to determine your skills with video and knowledge of a certain RV topic (which they may know well) before subscribing. It’s a tricky equation to compute, no doubt.
    * * *
    In my mind,
    (1) I’m here to support you both in all you do on the road and in your personal lives (period)… (grin)
    (2) If it takes 10, 30 minutes, or an hour every WED and SUN… that’s what I’ll do.
    (3) When in doubt about anything dealing with #2 … I review #1 again… (wink)
    * * *
    I like … they have 156,000 members, 3000 groups, and a 5200-member Boondockers Group (we are not members; my wife has to have a hot shower every day or two – and clean laundry weekly (grin)).
    So, for the sheer size and variety of RV campers, it is a major stop on my online adventures each time I log in.
    They have a map service that indicates where all the members are… when members come close to your location/homestead… and if you use it to record each stop, it’ll provide a map of your route once you get home… just throwing it in… (wink)
    * * *
    luvs and hugs
    * * *
    Clear skies, light winds, and smooth roads…
    * * *

    Until that time. . .

    Hi Stacy & Thomas! Thank you for the video. Seems easy enough ๐Ÿ˜‰

  29. Janice Voss on April 1, 2020 at 4:10 pm

    Hi Stacy. Enjoyed the video. I have Compendium & Allstays. I really like Campendium and use it a lot. There isn’t a fee, but once a year they accept donations and sell shirts, hats, etc.. The reviews in Campendium are written by Rvers who have stayed at the property. Allstays is a go-to resource sometimes. Not my first pick though. I have just downloaded Free Roam. I will check it out and get back with my thoughts. How’s the remodeling going? I like the picture of you in the jeep, cute dress. Hope everything is going well. Stay safe ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ’•๐ŸŽ‰

  30. Dont ask on April 1, 2020 at 4:13 pm

    I wish you would have mentioned that UG (regular U.S.) and UC (Canada) downloads are not free. Also, I am surprised YouTubers are not mentioning the anniversary of 9/11 on videos uploaded today. The point is, โ€œNever Forget!โ€

  34. Austin Hallock on April 1, 2020 at 4:17 pm

    Thanks for talking about FreeRoam Stacy!

    As fellow full timers we’ve actually used all four of these apps. Campendium is still our go too, however the free roam app does have awesome potential! Thanks for sharing ๐Ÿ˜.

  40. Survival Radio - Saving The Oldies on April 1, 2020 at 4:24 pm

    I wonder if anyone like freeroam, thought of approaching employers like Amazon. Who depend on influx of work campers. To donate for the efforts cleaning up and educational info. Like the things you mentioned.

  41. Dave Duncan on April 1, 2020 at 4:27 pm

    Ok. Free Roam is my new favorite RVing app. This will probably replace several RVing apps I already have on my phone. Love that it is a website, too, so that I can use the bigger screen on my laptop when it is handy.
